Internal size of key sqaure is 4.8mm, the size was simply rounded up when they went metric to 5mm
If your gas central heating isn't warming your home properly, it could be because there are air bubbles trapped in the system
This is when you'd need to bleed your radiator. These bubbles prevent hot water from circulating effectively, so radiators aren't as hot as they should be and take longer to warm your home
Simply use this key on the radiator vent to release trapped air until water starts to come out, tighten and thats it!
